Explore the Waters of Campbell River
Where We Fish
Coastland Fishing tours explore the waters surrounding Campbell River, including the Discovery Passage, Strait of Georgia, Johnstone Strait, and the scenic Toba Inlet, Bute Inlet, and the Discovery Islands. These areas are known for their protected, calm waters and are home to some of the richest salmon fishing on the coast. Every route is chosen based on time of year, tides, and where the fish are biting.

What We're Catching
Our main targets are Pacific salmon—Chinook, Coho, and Pink—depending on the time of year. In addition to salmon, we often go after rockfish and lingcod, especially when conditions are right. These species are fun to catch and make for some great eating. Whether you're after a trophy Chinook or just looking to reel something in, there's always something biting in these waters.

Wildlife
On any given trip, you might spot bald eagles overhead, harbour seals lounging on the rocks, and sea lions. Keep your eyes open for humpback whales, orcas, dolphins, and porpoises—they often appear. All of this with the stunning Coastal Mountain Range as your backdrop.
